Cinnamon oil, Chinese medicine name. Publication of the Compendium of Materia Medica. It is an essential oil obtained by steam distillation of bark or branches and leaves of cinnamon. The yield of oil from bark was 1% ~ 2%. The oil yield of fresh branches and leaves was 0.3% ~ 0.4%. It is one of the famous essential oils exported earlier in China. For yellow or yellow-brown clear liquid, there is the special smell of cinnamon, sweet, bitter. Open air, or stored for a long time, its color gradually darkened, gradually thick.
